Projects >> Mini Projects

“Life is for service.” – Fred Rogers

Have an idea of your own?

We’re all ears. The projects  listed on this website just include our major projects. However, we’re always looking to partner with individuals who have ideas for benefiting the homeless and low-income of Houston. If you have an idea and would like help implementing it, shoot us an email at with the subject line: “New RCoHH Idea”.  We’ll be sure to schedule a meeting and see how we can we help.

Example Projects:

Some of our completed past and ongoing mini-projects include:

  • Raised money for victims of Hurricane Haiyan in the Philipines.
  • Collected jeans for homeless teens as part of the AeropostaleTeens for Jeans Campaign.
  • Created plans for hygiene kit distributions.
  • Hosted an on-campus exhibit on modern agriculture’s role in staving off hunger through the HungerU Tour.
  • Leading community workshops on homelessness in Houston and the network of services avalable to help.
  • Had a guy offer to shave half his beard to raise money for Sandwiches-for-All. (No joke.)

Doing big things even with our mini-projects. That’s the RCoHH Way.
